Did you know that the PTA maintains a Google calendar of important Palo Verde dates like PTA events and school vacations? If you use Google calendar already, go to the Other Calendars menu, select Add a Friend’s Calendar, and enter paloverde.elementary at gmail dot com. You can also add the calendar by going to the embedded calendar on the Palo Verde home page (http://www.palo-verde.pausd.org/index.htm) and clicking the Google logo in the lower right of the calendar.
All PTA board members and volunteers. Submissions for the September Voice are due Friday August 29, by 2 pm. The Voice will go out in Friday folders on September 5. Submissions must be in the body of the email sent to paloverdevoice at gmail dot com. Because the Voice and enews are created by different volunteers, subject heading on the email must clearly state if the content is for the Voice or enews. Please note we will not be opening any submissions made via attachments.
The Voice carries only news and information directly related to Palo Verde school and PTA events. We are unable to publish information and events related to after school programs or the community in the Voice or the school enews. Please contact ptaenews at yahoo dot com if you would like to get information about your afterschool program or activity published in the district enews.
Feel free to contact Voice editor Anjani Sarma at paloverdevoice at gmail dot com for Voice related submissions or Shannon Huang at paloverdevoice at gmail dot com for enews related submissions.
