Double your PiE Donation

November 1-15

Did you know that without your donations to Palo Alto’s Partners in Education (PiE), Palo Verde wouldn’t have classroom aides, new science enrichment programs, Spectra Art, Project Resilience, or 80% of our reading specialist hours?  From November 1-15 you can double your donation to PiE through a $225,000 matching grant.  We ask $800 per student, or roughly $4.40 per school day, but please give whatever is meaningful to you and your family by visiting www.papie.org or by filling out a donation envelope at the Palo Verde school office.

Book Fair Success!

Thank you to all families who participated in the Palo Verde Book Fair. We sold over $10,000 worth of books and raised more than $2,000 for our school librarian to use to continue to build our fantastic library collection. A very special thank you goes out to Liliane Lehman and Tina Mondragon, the Book Chairs who made it all happen. They made it look easy, but their commitment and organization truly made the Book Fair such a success. And, much gratitude to everyone who volunteered time to help set up, run the cash registers, re-stock, and tear down. Hope everyone enjoys their new books!
